Brooks Crankshaw has enjoyed 30 years of investment banking experience as an advisor to companies in the business services, manufacturing, health care, consumer, energy, and retail industries in the U.S. and abroad. Prior to joining The Chicago Corporation, Mr. Crankshaw founded and led Highland Ridge Capital after an 18-year tenure with JP Morgan Securities and its predecessor companies in Chicago and London.
An author and editor, Mr. Crankshaw has been published in various periodicals including Insider Quarterly, International Finance & Treasury, TheStreet.com, Axial Forum, and MiMfg Magazine (Michigan Manufacturing Association). He is frequently quoted in the media, most recently in MergerMarket and on Bloomberg Radio.
Mr. Crankshaw is a Trustee of Lawrence Hall, a child welfare agency focused on treating, educating, and empowering at-risk youth and their families in the Chicago area.
He earned an M.B.A. in finance and corporate strategy from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a B.A. degree in economics from the University of Michigan. Mr. Crankshaw is a FINRA-Registered Principal with TCC Securities LLC (Member FINRA/SIPC).
