Stan Cutter is a Managing Director of The Chicago Corporation and an original founder in 2010. His clients span industrials, fintech and digital technology, food and consumer as well as business services.
Stan is passionate about helping clients develop their companies and make decisions to realize their personal financial goals and returns from their businesses. With a background as a commercial and investment banker, a personal trust professional and as a small business owner, he brings a unique perspective to client issues. Prior to co-founding The Chicago Corporation, Stan gained experience at Citicorp in New York, Hong Kong and Chicago, owned and operated Wheelchair Getaways of Illinois, a wheelchair accessible van rental business and was a senior executive at other financial advisory firms.
Stan received a BA in Economic from Bowdoin College and an MBA in Finance and Marketing from Columbia University. He has been active in Vistage, The National Association of Corporate Directors and has been a director of several not for profit organizations.
Tom Denison

Tom Denison is a Managing Director and co-founder of The Chicago Corporation. He has over 45 years of investment banking and corporate finance experience, and has been a trusted advisor to CEOs, boards of directors, entrepreneurs and owners of privately-held businesses. His clients have included public companies as well as family-owned business, and has spanned a variety industries including healthcare, environmental and business services; industrial products; food; and financial services. His experience extends across merger and acquisition transactions, debt and equity capital raises, and corporate finance advisory assignments.
Prior to re-establishing The Chicago Corporation, Tom was a Managing Director at Banc of America Securities and Brown Gibbons Lang. He began his career at The Continental Bank of Chicago. Mr. Denison received an AB from Dartmouth College, an MBA from The Tuck School of Business, and a CPA from the University of Illinois.

Diane L. Selph is a Managing Director at The Chicago Corporation. Diane has more than 35 years experience in investment banking with a concentration in mergers & acquisitions for family owned businesses, middle market companies, financial sponsors and private equity firms. Throughout her career, she successfully advised both public and private companies in a variety of industries, including food & consumer, diversified industrials, manufacturing & distribution, healthcare and business services.
Prior to reestablishing The Chicago Corporation, Diane was a Director in BMO Capital Markets where she spent 15 years in the Mergers & Acquisitions Group marketing, originating and executing buy and sell-side mergers & acquisitions, financial advisory, valuations, tender offers and private debt and equity transactions, and the Financial Sponsors Group marketing investment banking products to financial sponsors and private equity firms.
Prior to BMO, Diane was with The First National Bank of Chicago where she managed bank relationships, structured senior credit facilities and marketed capital markets products to companies as part of the National Corporate Banking Group. Formerly, Diane was in the Partnership Services Group at Marriott Corporation managing hotel partnerships, including all financial and investor relations matters.
Diane is a CPA and began her career at KPMG Peat Marwick providing audit services. She has also received the Certified Financial Analyst designation.
Diane has an MBA from the University of North Carolina’s Kenan-Flagler Business School and has a BS in Accounting from the University of Virginia’s McIntire School of Commerce.

Frederic Floberg is a Managing Director of The Chicago Corporation.
Fred has more than 40 years experience in investment banking with a concentration in mergers and acquisitions advisory work. He has represented a wide range of clients in cross-border and domestic transactions, including small to mid-capitalization enterprises and public and private companies. His clients represent various industries, including industrial products and services, distribution, technology, healthcare, specialty chemicals, consumer products, information services, and telecommunications.
Prior to reestablishing The Chicago Corporation, Fred was Managing Director at Heller Financial, Inc., a GE Capital Company, where he was in charge of the sale of portfolio companies from the financial sponsor and private equity client base. Earlier, Mr. Floberg spent four years at ABN AMRO Incorporated as the head of the North American M&A department during which period of time his group completed more than 100 M&A transactions representing over $10 billion in value. Prior to ABN, he was a Managing Director, specializing in M&A, at The Chicago Dearborn Company, a privately-held broker-dealer affiliated with The First National Bank of Chicago and The Chicago Corporation.
Fred began his investment banking career at Smith Barney where he was a Managing Director and a generalist investment banker working on a wide variety of public and private transactions. Prior to his investment banking career he was a partner at a large Chicago law firm. He served as an officer in the US Navy.
Mr. Floberg holds an MBA in finance from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business; he holds a JD from Northwestern University School of Law where he served on the Law Review; and he obtained a BA from Dartmouth College.

Andrew Witik is a Senior Associate at The Chicago Corporation. He joined the firm in May of 2019.
Andrew assists the Managing Directors and Associates in preparing marketing materials, performing financial due diligence and executing merger and acquisition and private capital transactions. Recent industry work includes food and consumer, transportation, and industrials. Prior to joining The Chicago Corporation, Andrew worked in the Corporate Finance group at Chartwell, a boutique middle market advisory firm, executing on M&A and capital raising engagements across a variety of industries.
Andrew received a BA from Miami University and a JD from Loyola University Chicago School of Law.
NOLAN BERTOG

Nolan is a Senior Analyst at The Chicago Corporation.
He works closely with Managing Directors in preparing marketing materials, performing financial due diligence and executing merger and acquisition and private capital transactions. He joined The Chicago Corporation in September of 2021. Prior to joining The Chicago Corporation, Nolan worked in a rotational leadership program at Fifth Third Bank where he assisted commercial lending personnel providing financing solutions for middle market businesses.
Nolan received a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Farmer School of Business at Miami University (Ohio)
